Five days of strong Reformer Pilates, organic food, sea air, wine at the table and space to feel like yourself again.
At the heart of the retreat is a quiet eco-villa in the Algarve, surrounded by organic gardens, open air and stillness.
From rammed-earth construction and green energy production to rainwater recovery, natural water treatment, living soil regeneration and an edible forest, every detail has been created with care and intention.
You’ll be surrounded by organic gardens, nature, open air and quiet luxury!
There is a natural swimming pond, a peaceful pool, food from the land, and one of Portugal’s most beautiful beaches nearby.

The breath, the conversations, the laughter, the shared table, the people you didn’t know you needed to meet. This is often what makes an ANASA retreat stay with you long after you leave.

This is the heart of the retreat.
You will have two to three reformer sessions a day, taught in a small group of just seven people, so we can actually see you, guide you and adapt the work to your body.
Some guests will be new to reformer Pilates. Some will be experienced. Some will be in their 20s, some in their 60s or 70s. That is why we teach with intelligent layering — the same class can support, challenge and progress every person in the room.
And because we are in the Algarve, movement does not only happen in the studio. Some days, we take it outside — with mat Pilates by the beach, sea air, and space to move differently.

Nourishing, seasonal food inspired by the land around us, with ingredients grown from the garden.
There will be beautiful Mediterranean food, wine on the table and time to actually enjoy it all. There will be 2/3 meals per day all prepared by our private chef.

There will be peaceful moments by the pool, swims in the natural pond and time to experience some of the Algarve’s most beautiful coastal settings by boat.
This is not dead time. It is part of the retreat.
The body needs challenge, but it also needs space to absorb it.
There is structure, but never pressure. Each day has movement, food, time outside and enough space to actually switch off.
Wake slowly, coffee by the pond, and a sunrise Reformer Pilates session designed to build strength, control and connection. After class, we gather for a fresh, nourishing breakfast.
Time to swim, read, rest, explore the villa or simply do nothing. Some days include a coastal walk, beach time or another Pilates session, followed by a relaxed lunch.
Another Reformer Pilates session as the day cools down, then dinner around the table with seasonal food, wine, conversation and time to enjoy where you are.
Weather permitting, one day is shaped around the Algarve coastline — sea air, time near the water, beautiful views, good food and a slower rhythm outside the villa.
